David,
Those are some nice watches I would have loved that Daniel Wellington Oxford when i was active duty it would have matched flawlessly with my dress blues. I have owned several citizen echo drive watches over the years, and I think they are excellent time pieces.
I have never been a fan of gold watches I don’t know why, but as far as leather bands are concerned is there anything you need to do to maintain the leather?
Juan – many thanks for your comments and I have to say I do have a soft spot for the DW.
With regards to leather straps, my advice would be to use a quality leather balsam to keep the strap in prime condition.
This a very great site I like how you have shared information on these watches, the prices, and where you can purchase them. I like how you have posted on some very classy watches also for some affordable prices too.
There are some people who don’t wear watches as much, but for the ones who do still wear watches daily this a site that I would recommend.
Keep sharing! 🙂
Some people don’t wear watches? Shock, horror!
Seriously, though, thank you for your comments, Dawn.
Great post and some gorgeous watches, I’m in the market for a new one as my watches always get battered, I’m in the fire brigade so it’s a bit of an occupational hazard. What would you recommend as something hard wearing but also fairly classy looking? Does such a watch exist.
Many thanks
Dan – thank you for stopping by. There will an article in the very near future on just this topic, so keep an eye out for it.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hi David,
I think it’s time I had a change of watch, mine’s all scratched now and needs to be replaced.
For me, I like a simple style that’s easy to read, looks good and not too bulky.
I have my eyes on this Daniel Wellington Oxford watch. I think it looks really stylish and will suit me.
Thanks for your article,
Simon.
Good choice, Simon, the DW Oxford is a really nice looking and reliable timepiece.
Thanks for your comments.
Ooh this got me thinking again, just a couple of months ago I told my husband to start buying me wrist watches for my birthday or anniversary and I love what I see on your site.
Although I never liked wearing watches, I gained a sudden interest this year and still have not gotten one so I might come back to this site for my very first wrist watch.
Thanks Filichia – please do visit again, there will be much more news, views and reviews in the future.
