Everyone who is interested in watches will have their own favourite brand. As such, it is very difficult to compile a definitive list of the top brands.
Do you list them by popularity in terms of number of sales, revenue, popularity, or some other means?
Whichever way you choose, there will always be conflicting opinions. That is the nature of the beast, I guess. If we all liked the same, then the world (and the world of watches) would be a very dull place!
The List
So, some time ago, Esquire published a survey conducted amongst their readers to determine a list of the top 50 watch brands. So, without further ado, here it is. In time-honoured tradition, I shall announce these in reverse order:

now when I see a website about watches it always gets my attention.
Tissot and Breitling being my favourites but who would not turn there nose up at a Rolex or Omega. But for me those are the watches of preference.
I think you could do with removing some of the adverts that break up the list though.
